Scott grew up in Lamont, Oklahoma where he excelled in athletics as well as academics. He received his Bachelors Degree in Physical Education Sports Management from Oklahoma State University and his Masters Degree in Divinity from Perkins School of Theology. Scott worked as a Physical Therapist Technician for the San Diego Chargers and the San Diego Padres. He also worked as the Senior High Youth Minister at Boston Avenue UMC. Then he was appointed to Tuttle UMC followed by Aline/Cleo Springs UMC. Scott is married to Buffi Rene and has two children, Payton (18) and Parker (8).

Christina has been involved in student ministry for over 6 years and has a passion for working with youth. She feels that God has called her to use her gifts to nurture students and help them grow in their relationships with Christ. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in May of 2008 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.
